What: Building Analyst – Technician (BA-T) Course#: NCWK 904L, CRN#: 28096

This 4-day course prepares students for the Building Performance Institute (BPI) entry-level Building Analyst Technician (BA-T) certification. Students will learn how to evaluate residential buildings and small commercial buildings as energy systems with an emphasis on data collection and diagnostic testing. Students will learn how to use a blower door, combustion analyzer, and other weatherization diagnostic equipment. Prerequisite: BPI Building Science Principles certificate. BA-T is a lower-level certification compared to the more advanced Building Analyst Professional certification. Register separately for LRCC’s 4-hour BPI BA-T Field Exam.
BPI BA-T Field Exam: $750 (Please register separately for the exam – Course#: NCWK 9005L and CRN#: 28097). Field exam days will be between May 13-24th in Nashua, NH.
