In January of 2012, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua opened a new medical office building combining the services offered at three existing locations in Nashua under one roof.
“The Liberty Utilities Energy Efficiency Program worked really well for us,” said Christopher Bergeron, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Regional Facilities Manager. “We had certain energy efficiency measures in mind and Liberty was able to come up with rebates that matched up well with our plans.”
Ryan Lagasse, Key Accounts Manager for Liberty Utilities was able to put together a custom rebate package that met Dartmouth’s needs while providing big energy savings and rebates of over $245,000.
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua’s use of condensing domestic hot water boilers, custom condensing boilers and energy efficient windows qualified for rebates that reduced the cost of the items by 50%.
Our goal is to get involved with customers in the planning stages of projects so we can let them know what rebates are available,” said Lagasse, “but the beauty of our program is that the decision is up to the customer. They can choose which opportunities work best for them.”
