New Hampshire appears poised to adopt the 2015 I-Codes including the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), with amendments, in the coming year. Please join us for the 2019 Commercial Energy Code Workshop series sponsored by NHSaves that will explore key provisions of 2015 IECC including practical examples and alternative compliance paths. The Workshop will also highlight the New Hampshire–specific amendments being considered and what you need to know to comply with, and cost effectively exceed, the 2015 code.
Our primary speaker is Matthew Siska, a Principal at GDS Associates with nearly 17 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. Matt’s career began as a building and fire code consultant before moving into the energy efficiency industry, both new construction and existing building retrofits. Matt brings a real world, practical perspective to the discussion of energy conservation and building science practices.
For our first workshop of the spring season, we are pleased to announce that Revision Energy will join us in the afternoon to discuss the merits and logistics of building solar and electric vehicle ready. There is rarely a more cost-effective opportunity to prepare a building to support solar or EV’s than at the time of initial design and construction.
Join us at the conclusion of the workshop for a tour of the new FW Webb Central Distribution facility outlining their energy efficient design aspects and automated logistics!
