The 3rd Annual NH Energy Week takes place March 25-28 with events in Portsmouth, Manchester, Newport, and Concord. NHSaves is a Premier Sponsor of this opportunity to showcase the many ways companies and municipalities are investing in efficiency and clean energy projects throughout the state.
Tilak Subrahmanian, Vice President, Energy Efficiency for Eversource, will be part of a panel of clean energy experts and business leaders for the Portsmouth Energy Roundtable on Monday, March 25 at the Pease Tradeport.
The focus of the roundtable will be on:
- Programs available to businesses targeting increased energy efficiency in their facilities.
- What the future workforce of our state is looking for in employers regarding clean energy and sustainability goals.
- The many ways businesses can take control of their energy future.
Another highlight of the week will be the Energy Breakfast at The Grappone Conference Center in Concord on Thursday, March 28. Charlotte Ancel, Director of Strategic Development for Eversource, will sit on a panel being hosted by Sam Evans-Brown of NHPR.
“Our breakfast last year was a great success with over 250 attendees including many employers, municipal leaders and elected officials,” said Jim O’Brien, Director of External Affairs for The Nature Conservancy in New Hampshire. “This year we will feature two excellent sessions starting with a global leader in offshore wind development, followed by an impressive panel discussing how the regional grid, energy users, generators and utilities are moving toward the efficient use of cleaner energy resources.”
Energy week will also include a new “Emerging Energy Needs Forum” being held Tuesday, March 26 in Manchester. The high-level discussion will focus on the emerging energy needs of New Hampshire’s largest city and modern approaches to meeting those needs. Joyce Craig, Mayor of Manchester, will be part of a panel which also includes executives from Freedom Energy Logistics, OracleDyn, Comcast, SNHU and Cypress Creek Renewables.
Also, Dana Nute of Resilient Buildings Group will represent Liberty Utilities on Wednesday, March 27 at a roundtable being held at the Salt Hill Pub in Newport. The focus will be on clean energy opportunities in the greater Newport region.
This year’s NH Energy Week is capped by an Award Ceremony and Reception on March 28 at the Kimball Jenkins Carriage House in Concord.
